The new album from Lloyd Cole and the Commotions is called Easy Pieces, and Lloyd Cole says the 1970 movie Five Easy Pieces is indeed one of his favorite films. A bit of a traffic problem on the north side this afternoon: there's a train blocking North Fruitridge just south of the Sony CD plant, and if you can't wait, you'll need to head all the way over to 25th to get around it.
